Glesco Electric served as the electrical contractor for the Carle Foundation Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute, a major healthcare construction project in Urbana, Illinois. This state-of-the-art cardiovascular facility was developed to centralize advanced heart and vascular services, improving patient care across Central Illinois.
As part of a nine-story patient tower expansion, Glesco Electric completed complex electrical installations to support critical hospital operations. The project included power distribution systems, lighting, backup power integration, and infrastructure for advanced medical equipment.
The facility features specialized healthcare environments such as catheterization labs, cardiac intensive care units (ICU), and diagnostic imaging suites. Each space required reliable, code-compliant electrical systems designed to meet the demands of modern healthcare facilities.
