Glesco Electric partnered with CORE Construction to provide electrical installation services for campus-wide security upgrades at Danville Area Community College (DACC) in Danville, Illinois. The project involved multiple buildings across the campus, supporting enhanced safety through modern access control and surveillance systems.
As the electrical contractor, Glesco Electric installed the infrastructure required for access control systems and security cameras, including power distribution and low-voltage pathways. Work included routing and coordination of electrical and data cabling to ensure reliable connectivity across the campus.
Scope also included integration of new security components with existing campus systems, allowing for seamless operation and future expansion. The completed upgrades improve campus-wide visibility, access management, and overall security for students, staff, and visitors.
