Glesco Electric is proud to partner with CAD Construction on the development of the new Ogura-Sato Annex at the University of Illinois' Japan House.
Glesco Electric is serving as the Electrical Contractor for the development of the new Ogura-Sato Annex at Japan House, in partnership with CAD Construction. The project represents a significant expansion of this cultural and educational facility, supporting Japan House’s mission to promote Japanese arts, culture, and education.
Glesco is providing electrical construction services to support the annex’s new program spaces, which include additional classrooms, a fully accessible tea room, and enhanced accessibility features throughout the building. Electrical systems are being installed to support functionality, safety, and long-term performance while aligning with the architectural intent of the facility.
Construction commenced in March 2025 and marks an important milestone in the continued growth of Japan House at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Glesco Electric is proud to contribute to a project that enhances accessibility and expands opportunities for cultural engagement on campus.
