Glesco Electric is proud to partner with CAD Construction on the development of the new Ogura-Sato Annex at the University of Illinois' Japan House.
Glesco Electric is serving as the electrical contractor for the construction of the Ogura-Sato Annex at Japan House in Urbana, Illinois, in partnership with CAD Construction. The project represents a significant expansion of this cultural and educational facility, supporting new program spaces and enhanced accessibility.
As part of the project, Glesco Electric is installing electrical systems to support classrooms, a fully accessible tea room, and building-wide accessibility features. Scope includes power distribution, lighting systems, and electrical infrastructure designed to support safe, efficient, and long-term facility operation.
All work is being completed in coordination with project teams to align with the architectural design and performance requirements of the facility. This project highlights Glesco Electric’s experience in institutional electrical construction and new building development across Urbana and Central Illinois.
