Sangamon Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant

Glesco Electric is providing comprehensive electrical construction services in support of the modernization of the Sangamon Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project focuses on upgrading critical electrical systems to support improved plant performance, automation, and long-term operational reliability.

Glesco’s scope of work includes power distribution upgrades and generator installation, along with new lighting and fire alarm systems throughout the facility. The project also involves the installation of control panels, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and harmonic filters to support enhanced process control and electrical efficiency. In addition, Glesco is installing heat trace systems for chemical processing areas and providing electrical infrastructure to support expanded automation and plant operations.

These upgrades are designed to improve efficiency, reliability, and service capacity, helping ensure the facility can continue to meet the needs of the community for years to come.
