Sangamon Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant

Glesco Electric is providing comprehensive electrical construction services for the modernization of the Sangamon Valley Wastewater Treatment Plant. This project focuses on upgrading critical electrical infrastructure to improve plant performance, automation, and long-term operational reliability.

As part of the modernization, Glesco Electric is completing power distribution upgrades, standby generator installation, and new lighting and fire alarm systems throughout the facility. The project also includes installation of control panels, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and harmonic filters to support advanced process control and improved electrical efficiency.

Additional scope includes heat trace system installation for chemical processing areas and electrical infrastructure to support expanded automation across plant operations. These systems are designed to enhance reliability, optimize performance, and support the increasing demands placed on modern wastewater treatment facilities.
