University of Illinois E15 Parking Garage

Glesco Electric, Inc. partnered with Turner/Clayco to provide electrical construction services for the E15 Parking Garage at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Urbana, Illinois. The project involved demolition of the existing site and construction of a new parking structure designed to support modern campus transportation needs.

As the electrical contractor, Glesco Electric installed garage lighting systems, fire alarm infrastructure, and electrical systems supporting 16 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The project included power distribution and electrical infrastructure to support safe, efficient operation within a high-traffic parking environment.

All systems were designed and installed to enhance visibility, safety, and long-term performance, while supporting the growing demand for EV charging on campus. This project highlights Glesco Electric’s experience in commercial electrical construction, parking structure electrical systems, and EV charging infrastructure across Urbana and Central Illinois.
