VA Water Softening Plant

Glesco Electric partnered with Troop Contracting to complete electrical improvements at the Danville VA Water Softening Plant in Danville, Illinois. The project included system analysis, infrastructure upgrades, and new electrical installations to support safe and reliable facility operation.

As the electrical contractor, Glesco Electric performed an arc flash study, installed new electrical fixtures, and provided a new electrical service to support plant operations. Scope also included installation of lightning protection systems to safeguard critical equipment and improve overall facility safety.

All work was completed in coordination with the project team to ensure code compliance, reliability, and long-term performance within a utility-focused environment. This project highlights Glesco Electric’s experience in utility and infrastructure electrical construction across Danville and Central Illinois.
