Vermilion Solar Field

Glesco Electric, Inc. partnered with Miller Bros Solar to provide electrical construction services for the Vermilion Solar 1 Community Solar Garden, a 2 MW solar facility serving the local Illinois community. The project included installation of electrical infrastructure to support the solar array, utility interconnection, and system commissioning.

As the electrical contractor, Glesco Electric performed trenching, conduit and wire installation, and equipment terminations to support photovoltaic (PV) system operations. Work also included coordination with project partners to ensure proper integration with utility systems and compliance with interconnection requirements.

The completed installation supports reliable renewable energy generation and contributes to expanding community solar access. This project highlights Glesco Electric’s experience in solar electrical construction, utility interconnection, and renewable energy infrastructure across Central Illinois.
